    No reason to start with how tired I am….thats getting to be old news…..hmmm…lets see….good news….I drove a million miles yesterday…and I’m still okay today.

    Today was good. Slept in.

    Headed to Broadway Pub with my Dad to set up the gear around 4. This show wouldn’t of happened without my old friend, Michelle Rowe. She works at the pub…and she set it up.

    Bangor, is where I almost graduated High School. Still have family in this town. The cool thing about tonight…I haven’t been back to the high school reunions…but this was pretty close. Actually…this was even better.

    I saw a lot of old friends from way back….and it was really cool.

    The bar was an old hotel. For years…this place was a dive….but not anymore. A couple of young fellas had the gutts to restore it…and they did a damn good job. Made me proud of the hometown. Made me proud to see the outcome of what can happen when you work your ass off.

    I was a little nervous about tonight…hometown…not sure what to expect…but I was treated with love….and nothing less.

    Had some beautiful conversations with people…about the past, etc…a lot of catching up.

    Some had hard stories…some had happy stories. But they all had a story…and I loved each one. So many faces…so many memories.

    One thing that blew me away…..signing CD’s after the show…a girl stepped up in line, and told me she had driven 4 hours to be there. You can imagine my surprise. She said she had been following the 40dayrisk online….wow….I wasn’t sure how to express my gratitude….but I was really grateful! It kinda’ dawned on me tonight…I’m a musician…..hmmm…..I’m okay with that….thats what I had set out to do when I left this town….and I did it. I’m glad that no one ever warned me how hard it would be…or I wouldn’t of had the opportunity to experience tonight….tonight was worth it.

    What a beautiful evening….a room full of people…a pub…small town America….music…family…..stories……about as good as it gets.

    Thank you Bangor….for letting me come back…for listening to songs about the journey while I’ve been gone….and for sharing so much love. Hope to see you again soon.

    Looks like I might take the day off from Harrisburg tomorrow. Been 7 days without a break….and 5 more days without a break starting Thursday….need sleep. My brain is getting fuzzy….Cant quit now. Goodnight.

    You can do it Nate, we are all pulling for you. Everyone from back home are so proud of you and what you are doing. This is what you were meant to do. You have impacted alot of peoples lives by your music. You have made a great impression on everyone you have ever known. Nothing in life is easy, you have to fight, you cant give up.     Nothing worth doing is easy...Life is not easy! Turn it over to God, give it up to him and he will guide you. If you need sleep, sleep, you are not failing if you don't do 40 shows in 40 days! If you do 40 shows in 80 days that is fantastic! Today is 9/11 and as I sit and look at the pictures from that day and look at what we are all doing, you can complete your task, in 50 days, 60 days or 80 days. YOU can do it.
